The workday of a butler
By Jack Butler
My work is very hard,
When he gets drunk I am left to pick up the shards.
I clean his car,
So he can get drunk at the bar.
I have to cook,
From 1969 cookery books.
I have to clean,
I am lucky to buy a tin of beans.
I stroke my master's pet cat,
Why did he get the fortune he's such a brat.
Maybe I should quit,
Or am I being an idiotic twit.
One day I came to work,
But where was master dirk.
He had died and to my surprise.
That I never realised.
That all he had was now MINE
(Moral: That if you work hard, good things will happen to you)
